Do you sell SIM card? If not, how can I purchase a SIM card in Bali?
We do not sell SIM card at the resort. You can get SIM card from official shops or local shops along the street, which you can find easily here in Bali. What you need are a valid ID (passport will most likely do) and some money, at least IDR 50,000, to spare depending on which provider interest you. For a convenient network, you will need to buy a mobile data package that you can choose from daily, weekly, or monthly plans depending on your staying period on the island.
Where is the nearest clinic?
The nearest clinic you can reach from The Udaya is Ubud Clinic. The clinic is located in Jl. Raya Campuhan 36, Sayan, Kecamatan Ubud, Ubud, Bali 80352. Please kindly find our staff's assistance should you need further information about the clinic.
What is Bali's IATA code?
Bali's international airport is Ngurah Rai International Airport with DPS code (IATA code). Before booking your flight to Bali, please kindly make sure that you are heading to the right airport. Ubud is located on Bali island, Indonesia.
How long does it take from the airport to The Udaya?
It takes around 1-1.5 hours drive from the airport to the resort. Please kindly note that the time estimation may vary depending on the traffic since the resort is located in Ubud, an iconic highland in the heart of Bali. For your convenience, we have an airport pick-up service available with an additional charge. You may kindly inform us at least one day in advance should you want to use this service and there will be an upfront payment required to confirm the booking.
Can I bring someone who are not guests in the room?
You can bring family, colleague, or friends to your room to enjoy the facility. However, please kindly note that the room's occupancy is only for two people maximum per night. Extra bed is required if your guest intends to stay over the night for a maximum of 1 person (not available for Pool Suite and Ubud Pool Suite).
Can I rent baby carseat?
Guests can request for a baby car seat with no additional charge (subject to availability). You may inform the staff in advance to allow us to prepare everything for you upon your arrival. Please kindly note that the car seat can be requested along with transportation service or tour booking from us.
Can I bring any type of fireworks during my stay?
Guests are not allowed to bring any type of fireworks to use at the resort's area. We try our best to keep the resort's area tranquil for each guests' convenience. Therefore, any type of fireworks use is not allowed.
Can I use my drone at the resort?
Personal drone use is allowed at the resort's area with consent by the management and other guests should you want to shoot at the main facility. For room areal shot, please kindly make sure that your drone will not be entering another guest's unit to respect the privacy. Please kindly inform our staff in advance if you want to fly your drone.
Do you have money changer service at the resort?
Money changer service is not available at the resort. Should you need to exchange your money, you may ask for our assistance and we will be happy to assist you to the nearest money changer in Ubud Center.
Do you speak our language?
Our staff does speak English for operational. We also have staff who speak Japanese should you prefer to communicate using the respective language.
Is it allowed to bring my pet to the resort?
We apologize but any kind of pet is not allowed in our resort's area. We hope you can kindly understand our policy for the convenience and safety of all of our guests.
Do you have a laundry service at the resort?
Laundry service is available at your service in our room. The estimated time for the laundry duration should be around 24 hours. Please kindly make sure that the estimated time will be suitable for you to avoid any miscommunication about the laundry delivery.
I left my belongings at the resort. Can you help search and keep it for me?
We can keep the left-behind belongings for up to 6 months if the belonging is found. When you realize that you have left your belonging, please kindly contact us as soon as possible. Therefore, we can immediately search it and secure it once found. Please kindly note that we are not responsible for any loss of the belongings at the resort.
Where is the nearest beach from your resort?
Our resort is located in the highland area of Bali. Therefore, the estimation time to reach the closest beach, which is Keramas Beach, will take up to 50 minutes to 1 hour (time may vary depending on the traffic). Keramas Beach itself is located in the Gianyar area.
Can I keep my luggage at the front desk?
You are more than welcomed to leave your luggage at the front desk if you are planning to depart later than check out time. Outside guests that visit to enjoy our services are also allowed to keep the luggage at the front desk while you are doing activities at the resort's area.
Do you have a parking lot at the resort?
We do have a parking lot in front of the lobby area. If the parking lot is full, usually during the high season, we have an extra field available for parking lot near the resort area. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you upon arrival.
How does your shuttle service operation work?
Our shuttle service operates hourly from 10AM until 9PM every day from and to Ubud Center. The meeting point will be in front of Milk & Madu near Ubud Palace. It is advisable to book your seats in advance to our staff.
Is there any elevator at the resort?
Elevator is not available at our resort area. Our resort's area is built of one main building where Suite and Garden Suite are located. Meanwhile, our Pool Suites, Ubud Pool Suite, Pool Villas, and Duplex Pool Villas are built separately from the main building for guests' best stay experience as the rooms also have a private pool in each unit.
Is The Udaya a child-friendly resort?
Children are more than welcome to our resort. In fact, we would be very happy to meet your kids and try to give them the best vacation with us. You may inform our staff if you need any additional property, such as a baby cot or baby car seat, and we will be happy to prepare it for you (subject to availability).
Do you sell daily needs?
Guests can find basic supplies in the souvenir shop that is located on the first floor right beside the front desk area. Other than basic daily supplies, we also sell authentic Balinese souvenirs for you to bring back home.
I am sick. Do you provide medicine?
First-aid box with basic supplies is always prepared for our guests to anticipate any unwanted circumstances. For first aid, we have generic medicine for cold and headache. If you have further complications or another symptom of sickness, you may ask our staffs' assistance about the nearest hospital information.
Can I do late check-out?
Our apologies but we cannot guarantee late check-out requests for any reason. We hope our guests can kindly understand the policy as we should start preparing the room for the incoming guests. If you have any plan to stay longer in the Ubud area, you can drop your luggage at our front desk team and they will be happy to secure the luggage for you.
Can I do an early check-in?
Our apologies but we cannot guarantee any early check-in request for any reason. The room's readiness will depend on the departure time of the former's guest in the room which should be checking out at 12 pm the latest. However, you are welcome to arrive early at our resort and enjoy the main facilities while waiting for the room to be ready. Should your room is ready before check-in time, our staff will assign you to the room immediately.
I will have late check-in. Should I notify the resort in advance?
We understand that your itineraries may vary, also considering that our guests are coming from all over the world and the late-night flight is sometimes unavoidable. To help us notice your late arrival, please kindly contact our team to inform about the possible late check-in.
When are check-in and check-out times?
Guests can start checking in to the room from 2PM onwards every day. Meanwhile, the latest check-out time is at 12PM. Should you want to stay longer at the resort's area, you can drop your luggage in the front desk while you enjoy your time around the main area or going out to explore Ubud area.
